Misfit Photo #5: Not The Sharpest Pencil In The Box

Have you ever had one of those weeks when you feel like your brain just isn’t firing on all cylinders? That was me this week. Tongue-tied, awkward, clumsy, confused, vacant, hyper, and hungry. And that was just Thursday. Needles to say, I wasn’t the sharpest pencil in the box, which is where the inspiration for this week’s Misfit Photo came from.

Not The Sharpest Pencil In The Box

I took this photo using my Nikon D70 on the A (or aperture) setting. I used a wide f-stop (f/4) to make the pencils behind the marker and closest to the lens blurry. I’m still working my way up to the fully manual setting on my camera. It’s just so stinkin’ convenient to use the A setting at this point.

Have a great weekend!

  1. I love the colors! You will use full manual before you know it! A is always fun too! And btw…I have those days all the time :)!

I’m stuck on A too. I’ll be moving on soon. I hope. 🙂

    Another great Misfit shot!
